道奇單場6發全壘打，Juan Uribe就包辦3轟，加上先發投手Ricky Nolasco主投6.2局失1分的好投領軍下，終場道奇以8比1擊敗響尾蛇，中止4連敗。
道奇為了一掃系列賽遭紅人橫掃的陰霾，推出自7月19日後就沒再嘗過敗投滋味的Nolasco先發上陣，他主投6.2局被敲出3支安打，1保送、6三振，失1分非責失分。
打擊方面也給予充足的火力支援，2局下，Andre Ethier和Uribe上演「背靠背」全壘打，幫助道奇先馳得點，取得2比0領先。
3局下，道奇攻勢再起，Adrian Gonzalez和Uribe聯手開轟，擴大領先優勢，前4局遭到封鎖的響尾蛇，第5局終於有所斬獲，靠著Didi Gregorius的二壘長打，打破鴨蛋進帳1分，但這也是響尾蛇全場唯一的得分。
領先4分的道奇，繼續在對手傷口上灑鹽，5局下，率先上場的Hanley Ramirez擊出陽春砲，Uribe則是連3打席開轟，隨後又在7局下敲安進帳打點，Uribe單場4打數敲4安，包括3發紅不讓在內，總共包辦4打點，幫助道奇以8比1贏球，Nolasco拿下本季第13勝，也是先發4連勝。
道奇中止4連敗，戰績84勝59敗、勝率5成87，繼續穩坐國聯西區龍頭，領先響尾蛇來到12場勝差，在國聯外卡排行榜上，響尾蛇則是落後領先的海盜、紅人9場勝差。
