菲台爾蒙太平洋 收購美台爾蒙罐頭事業

菲律賓台爾蒙太平洋公司（Del Monte Pacific）將以16.8億美元，收購美國舊金山台爾蒙食品（Del Monte Foods）的罐頭食品事業，交易預計2014年初完成，亞洲企業收購美國公司的例子再添一樁。

台爾蒙食品1926年在菲律賓創辦事業，後於1996年全數出脫，目前台爾蒙太平洋67%的股權握在菲律賓排行第18的富商家族康柏斯（Campos）手中，在新加坡和菲律賓股市雙掛牌。收購美國台爾蒙將挹注其年營收18億美元、營業盈餘增加1.78億美元。

台爾蒙食品本身則於2011年由KKR領軍的集團，以40億美元收購下市。但其消費產品銷售受創，第1季萎縮5.5%，知情人士曾透露，罐頭食品部門主要競爭對手來自自有品牌。

台爾蒙食品出售罐頭食品事業後，將轉攻寵物食品，交易完成後也將改名。
