抗議氟化物污染 近百農民要求廠商遷廠

雲林縣虎尾和斗六傳出疑似氟化物污染事件，造成不少花卉等農作物枯死，近百名農民今天先後到雲林縣議會和縣政府陳情，要求賠償，同時請求造成污染的廠商必須遷廠。

抗議農民表示，股票上櫃的富喬公司，專門生產玻璃纖維紗和玻璃纖維布，但虎尾廠及斗六廠營運後，因為排放物中的氟化物超量，造成虎尾墾地里、北溪里、廉使里及斗六市梅林里等地一帶種植的花卉葉片枯黃，甚至包括玉米、香蕉、大蒜等農作物也受損，因而要求賠償並遷廠。

富喬公司回應，氟化物並非劇毒，目前該公司氟化物排放都符合國家標準，並未違法。雲林縣環保局受理抗議農民陳情書後則表示，氟化物確實會造成農作物枯黃，先前發生的農作物受損事件，富喬公司已經同意賠償，雙方也達成和解。最近農民再次檢舉，但抽驗結果氟化物並未超量。
