嘻哈歌手黃崇旭日前發行新專輯《反正就是》，新歌〈Everything's Gonna Be Alright〉歌詞中：「回家路上我是唯一亞洲人，偷我東西搶我的錢，想欺負我因為我不是這裡人。」他小時候住在美國南部，遭種族歧視，被黑人和墨西哥人霸凌，讓他一度憎恨自己是黃種人。

他曾因此酗酒、３進３出勒戒中心，最後又為感情重染惡習，當時已在台灣發過專輯的他，雖以歌手身分進入豪華勒戒中心，享豪華海景、廚師、按摩師、管家等設備，但成功戒酒後，仍鼓勵大家：「不管狀況多糟，都應保持正面態度，不要放棄就會有希望。」

他曾和蕭淑慎合拍〈萍聚Don't cry〉MV，盼下一張專輯能再續前緣，也渴望和金曲新人葛仲珊合作，「能和『饒舌鄧麗君』一起Rap，一定很屌。」
