【楊永盛／苗栗報導】聞名的大湖草苺提前上市！大湖地區農會上午首度舉行草苺文化季路跑活動，象徵為期4個月的的草苺季開跑，有民眾變裝草苺外形吸晴，跑者也紛把農會發的紋身貼紙「種」在臉上。農會總幹事鍾淑君說，受到氣溫反覆冷熱交替作用，香水、豐香等主要品種提前半個月熟成，歡迎到大湖亨受採草苺樂趣，目前每台斤約350元，農曆新年後大量草苺登場後，價格應會調降。
