職棒兄弟象釋出將出售的消息後，市場點名多家企業有意接手，龍巖證實的確有在評估接手的可能性，公共事務處總經理何啟聖23日指出，在周一由高階經理人由6個面向來評估接手的可能，董事長李世聰更是表示，如果評估結果可能影響到母公司，不排除由個人進行投資，他希望可營造一個成熟、合理的職棒環境。
何啟聖表示，上周六兄弟象有意出售的消息傳出後，包括董事長、總經理等人都認為入主職棒球隊，符合公司的形象，可為龍巖注入體育健康因子，龍巖長期關注棒球運動，也願意守護國球，所以在周一就由高階經理人進行評估。
他指出，評估的面向包括財務狀況、兄弟象29年來的經營情況、體育界人士的意見、接手效果評估、接手後的策略及方向、有意接手的競爭對象的評估等，在有意接手的消息傳出後，來自同仁及各界的回應都表示相當期盼可以接手，所以，目前已同步進行接觸及拜訪的行動。
何啟聖說，據董事長李世聰私下談話指出，在得知職棒選手月薪只有4萬元，第一個感覺是要怎樣養家活口？球員如果不能專心打球，怎麼會有精采的比賽？他覺得如果接手兄弟象，必須進行薪資結構的調整。
何啟聖進一步說明，董事長曾表示，如果評估的結果對龍巖母體可能造成影響時，不排除以個人名義進行投資；董事長也私下表示，要營造一個環境成熟的職棒環境，才有條件去向旅美、旅日的球星招手，他希望如果有幸接手，將營造一個成熟、合理的環境。
