農曆新年剛過，南市就傳出首例本土登革熱及家庭群聚感染，市議會國民黨團擔憂南部本土疫情仍無停歇跡象，11日呼籲市府重新檢討防疫措施，並立即做好危機處理，妥慎因應，以遏止登革熱蔓延。

市議會國民黨團書記長洪玉鳳指出，疾病管制署公布至2月9日止，本土登革熱確定病例共計13例，台南市3例。患者出現發燒、頭痛、後眼窩痛、關節肌肉疼痛、噁心、嘔吐等症狀，經通報確認感染登革熱第2型病毒，病毒株和去年確診病例基因型態相同，顯示有跨冬流行趨勢。

國民黨團發言人蔡淑惠表示，南市從96年至今通報確診的本土登革熱病患超過3000人以上，數據尚不包括境外移入確診及症狀不明顯未被通報者，前年更曾是全台最多病例的縣市，市府每年宣導投入不少經費，成效依舊不彰，癥結所在值得深入探討。

國民黨團要求衛生局即刻針對個案週邊啟動家戶強制孳生源巡查及清除工作，有效控制疫情。另提醒民眾如有發燒、頭痛、後眼窩痛、關節肌肉疼痛、出疹等症狀，宜速就醫。
